At DYB Africa, we're building products that shape digital experiences and empower users. We offer digital product design services and train the next generation of design talent through our bootcamps. We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented Product Designer who can help us deliver unique digital experiences, while also crafting visually engaging UI content for our growing online community.
What You’ll Do
Product Design Responsibilities
- Translate product requirements and user research into user-friendly designs, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver intuitive, accessible, and visually appealing designs.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions.
- Maintain and evolve our design system and component library.
- Iterate on feedback and data to improve user flows and interactions.
Social Media / UI Content Creation
- Create visually compelling UI-focused content for social platforms (e.g. carousels, prototypes, before-and-after redesigns, tips, design trends, etc.).
- Repurpose real product work or concepts into educational or inspirational content for platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and TikTok.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute a content calendar aligned with our brand and goals.
- Stay up to date with UI/UX trends to ensure content is fresh, modern, and aligned with industry best practices.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience as a Product Designer, UI Designer, or similar role.
- A strong portfolio showcasing product design work and any social/UI content created.
- Proficiency with Figma (or other modern design tools).
- Strong understanding of UX principles, responsive design, and accessibility.
- Excellent visual storytelling skills and an eye for layout, color, and typography.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Bonus: Experience with motion design, short-form video, or content strategy.
Work Schedule:
Hybrid. 2 days physical, 3 days remote (8:30am - 5pm)
Location: Lagos (VGC axis)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦130,000.00 - ₦150,000.00 per month
