Job Title: Procurement Manager
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
Effective Management :
- To lead and manage all procurement activities, which includes purchasing operations, policies and procedures.
- Manage contracting process, RFQs, bids, procurement, records and renewals in existing business.
- Develop and implement strategies for procuring, storing and distributing goods or services and maintaining stock levels.
- Ensure that only products that meet the company’s quality standards are delivered to clients.
- Discovery of profitable suppliers and initiate business and organizational partnership.
- Ensure all purchases go through the approved procurement procedures.
- Suggest alternative standardized materials that can save the organization money.
- Identify new potential suppliers and develop relationships.
- Developing / reviewing procurement processes to meet organizational developmental needs.
- Monitoring adherence to quality systems and complying with brand standards, government controls and ISO quality standards and maintaining requisite documents.
- Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
- Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts
- Assess, manage and mitigate risks.
- Develop vendors database.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to meet company goals. Develop KPIs and monitor performance forteam members.
Qualifications & Experience
- B.Sc Degree or HND in Business management, Supply Chain and Logistics Management, Biochemistry, Food science or any other related course
- Eight (8) years’ experience in procurement activities, with minimum 3 years’ experience in supervisory role.
- Membership Certification with CIPS or NISCM.
- Advanced Food Safety Certificate. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office.

Salary
N450,000 - N550,000 Monthly.
