Key Responsibilities:
- Provide inspirational leadership to promote academic excellence and a positive school culture.
- Oversee daily school operations, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Design and implement innovative educational programs to enhance student engagement and outcomes.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, parents, and the community to advance the school’s mission and vision.
- Manage staff development, school resources, and budgets to support growth and sustainability.
- Act as a role model and ambassador for Mount Joys School, building strong community relationships.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of proven experience as a Headmistress in a reputable school.
- Location: Must reside within the Meiran, Command, or Abule Egba axis of Lagos State.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and unite stakeholders.
- Innovation: A creative and forward-thinking approach to introducing modern teaching methods and educational innovations.
- Commitment: Enthusiasm for embracing new challenges and contributing to the growth of a developing school.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with the Nigerian education system and curriculum standards.
