We are looking for a Plant Operator to join our Utilities team, managing water supply and treatment systems for our mining operations. The role covers Raw Water Reservoir & Pumping Station, Bore Wells, Treated Water Reservoir & Pump House, and the Water Treatment Plant (WTP).
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor pumps, valves, and treatment equipment.
- Maintain water supply from raw water sources to treated water distribution.
- Carry out water quality checks and ensure compliance with standards.
- Keep accurate records of meter readings, operations, and maintenance activities.
- Follow safety and environmental guidelines at all times.
Requirements
- OND / Technical Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Water Resources, or related field.
- Experience in water supply or treatment plant operations is an advantage.
- Ability to operate pumps, valves, and basic treatment systems.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to work in a mining environment.
