Position Summary:
We are seeking a talented and self-motivated PHP Laravel Developer to join our development team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality web applications, APIs, and backend systems using Laravel and modern PHP practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Laravel framework
- Collaborate with front-end developers and designers to integrate user-facing elements
- Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable PHP code
- Develop RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
- Participate in code reviews and team meetings
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software to ensure strong optimization and functionality
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in PHP & Laravel development
- Strong knowledge of OOP, MVC architecture, and Laravel ecosystem
- Experience with MySQL or other relational databases
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git preferred)
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js is a plus)
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Bonus Skills (Added Advantage):
- Experience with Laravel Livewire or Inertia.js
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, DigitalOcean)
- DevOps or CI/CD knowledge
- Mobile API development

Job Type: Contract
Pay: ₦200,000.00 - ₦500,000.00 per month
