Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist with a strong working knowledge of SAP (Magnar) Payroll systems to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll across multiple entities or business units, ensuring compliance with local laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process end-to-end payroll transactions using SAP (Magnar) (including data entry, validation, execution, and reporting).
- Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity in SAP HR/Payroll modules.
- Validate timesheets, leave records, and variable payments such as bonuses, overtime, and allowances.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (e.g., tax, social security, pension contributions).
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, and external vendors to resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Prepare payroll reports and analytics for audits and internal use.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to payroll.
- Keep up to date with changes in payroll legislation and system updates.
- Respond to employee queries regarding salaries, deductions, and payroll policies.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and system enhancements within SAP.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in payroll processing, with hands-on use of SAP (Magnar) HR/Payroll modules.
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
- High attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or integration with SAP
- Exposure to multi-country payroll or large employee populations.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPP, PCM) is a plus.
