Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Manager with strong technical skills and a FinTech experience to lead and streamline our day-to-day operations. This individual will serve as the key liaison between staff and management, ensuring smooth communication, transparency, and alignment of company objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of operational leadership, people management, and tech-savvy capabilities to drive performance, efficiency, and reporting across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Process Management:
- Oversee and supervise daily operations, ensuring smooth workflows across departments
- Develop and implement efficient processes to improve productivity and reduce operational bottlenecks.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Generate and monitor KPIs and generate regular employee performance reports to support decision-making.
- Develop and enforce internal processes, SOPs, and workflows to enhance performance and accountability.
- Lead the planning and execution of operational activities to ensure organizational efficiency.
- Ensure operational activities align with legal, regulatory, and internal compliance requirements. Identify risks across operational functions and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Technology & System Optimization:
- Manage and optimize operational tools and platforms such as CRMs, ERPs, or workflow management systems.
- Work closely with technical teams to automate routine tasks and improve digital infrastructure.
- Train team members on the use of digital tools and systems to enhance productivity.
- Familiarity with API integrations, SaaS platforms, or basic coding knowledge is an advantage. Knowledge of how the product/Tech team works and ability to work with them.
Liaison Between Staff and Management:
- Act as the bridge between the workforce and executive leadership, ensuring concerns, updates, and ideas flow effectively.
- Communicate management decisions clearly to staff and relay feedback or operational concerns from employees to leadership. Facilitate a positive, performance-oriented workplace culture by promoting collaboration and transparency.
Workforce Reporting & Performance Monitoring:
- Create and present regular, detailed reports on workforce operations, including staffing levels, team productivity, and task completion.
- Analyze workforce metrics to identify patterns, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Bring innovative ideas to improve the workforce, recommend actionable solutions based on operational data and workforce performance trends. Maintain dashboards and manage email collaboration with clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Must have worked as an Operations Manager in a FinTech Industry.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in operations or a similar managerial role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Certifications in Project Management (PMP), Lean, or Six Sigma.
- Strong technical proficiency with tools like Excel/Google Sheets, CRMs, databases, and project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Notion).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Exceptional ability to prepare and present reports to management and stakeholders.
