This includes operating and maintaining equipment, monitoring water quality, conducting laboratory tests, and maintaining detailed records.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- The operating staff is responsible for controlling and adjusting equipment. Operators start, operate, and secure equipment like pumps, filters, and chemical feed systems.
- Monitoring equipment parameters:
- They monitor gauges, meters, and control systems to ensure proper operation and make adjustments as needed.
- The operating staff is responsible for tasks like cleaning filters, lubricating equipment, and performing minor repairs.
- The operating staff is responsible for diagnosing and resolving issues with equipment to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
- The operating staff is responsible for conducting water quality tests and performing various tests to check parameters like pH, chlorine levels, turbidity, and bacterial contamination.
- The operating staff is responsible for interpreting test results to ensure the water meets regulatory standards for drinking water.
- Operating staff is responsible for adjusting treatments based on test results and other factors.
- Operators adjust treatment processes to maintain water quality.
- The operating staff is responsible for recording operational data and maintaining detailed records of water treatment activities, including equipment readings, test results, and chemical usage.
- They prepare reports for regulatory compliance and performance evaluation.
- The operating staff is responsible for adhering to safety procedures and following safety protocols, such as lock-out/tag-out procedures, to prevent accidents.
- The operating staff also complies with regulations and ensures the plant operates in compliance with all applicable regulations and permit requirements.
- The operating staff responds to emergencies, such as equipment malfunctions or water quality issues, to minimize disruptions and ensure public safety.
- They also maintain a clean work environment mad keep the work area clean and organized.
- The operating staff is responsible for communicating effectively. Operators communicate with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders about plant operations and any issues that arise.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience
- SSCE Certificate is required
