The Role
We’re looking for an NYSC Mobile Developer to join our product team. You’ll work with senior engineers and designers to help build and improve the mobile experience for our users.
This is a hands-on role suited for someone who’s passionate about clean, efficient code and wants to learn by contributing to real production apps.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain mobile features using React Native or Flutter
- Work with designers to implement UI/UX features across iOS and Android
- Help connect APIs and ensure smooth frontend/backend integration
- Test and debug mobile features across devices and screen sizes
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and testing cycles
- Learn and improve through feedback, documentation, and pair programming
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in NYSC
- Basic experience building mobile apps using React Native or Flutter
- Strong understanding of JavaScript (or Dart), and component-based architecture
- Comfortable working with REST APIs
- Good attention to UI/UX details and responsive design
- Version control experience (Git/GitHub)
- Willingness to learn, ask questions, and work in a collaborative team
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with TypeScript
- Familiarity with tools like Figma or Expo
- Understanding of performance optimization in mobile apps
- Exposure to automated testing or CI/CD pipelines
