Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Medical Officer with strong surgical skills and a minimum of 7 years post-NYSC clinical experience. The ideal candidate must be mature, preferably married, and demonstrate proficiency in clinical decision-making, surgical procedures, and compassionate patient care. The Medical Officer will be responsible for providing surgical and general medical care to patients, participating in diagnostic and therapeutic decisions, and working collaboratively with the healthcare team. The position requires a high level of professional maturity, emotional intelligence, and dedication to quality care.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Perform minor and major surgical procedures within the scope of practice
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of medical and surgical conditions
- Make informed clinical decisions with a focus on patient safety and outcomes
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients
- Collaborate with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care
- Demonstrate emotional resilience and empathy in handling critical or sensitive cases
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, recovery, and prevention
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in line with medical standards
- Uphold ethical standards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Actively participate in medical audits, clinical meetings, and continuous professional development Foster teamwork, effective communication, and mutual respect within the clinical environment
Requirements:
- Preferably married, and demonstrate proficiency in clinical decision-making
- Surgical procedures, and compassionate patient care
- MBBS is required
