Job overview

We are hiring an Operations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the food truck, inventory control, cost management, staff management, including cooks, cashiers, and servers, to ensure that they provide high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the lounge(bar, and kitchen), inventory control, cost management, staff management, including bartenders, cook, cashiers and servers to ensure that they provide high-quality customer service.

Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the lounge(bar and kitchen) operates efficiently and effectively.

Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure the lounge(bar and kitchen) is optimally stocked.

Manage the lounge’s budget, including tracking expenses and revenue, and making adjustments as needed to ensure that financial goals are met.

Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff, including monitoring for potential security risks.

Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest feedback and resolving any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.

Supervise and train lounge(bar and kitchen) staff, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures, food safety regulations, and service standards.

Develop and maintain menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients, culinary trends, craft cocktails, and customer preferences.

Manage inventory levels for the bar, including liquor, beer, wine, and other beverages, ordering, and stock rotation to minimize waste and ensure optimal levels of fresh ingredients and supplies.

Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and portion control, maintaining consistency and excellence in every dish and drink served.

Implement effective cost-control measures to maximize profitability while maintaining high-quality standards.

Coordinate with other departments, to promote special events, promotions, and collaborations.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, sanitation standards, and licensing requirements for the lounge(bar, and kitchen).

Collaborate with the HR team to hire and train staff, and conduct regular performance evaluations to ensure all employees meet job expectations.

Collaborate with the team to develop and execute marketing strategies to attract customers and increase revenue.

Communicate progress by preparing and sharing daily reports with the management.

Ensure all employees are appropriately dressed and presentable at all times depicting morals and the company’s standard.

Job Requirements

– Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

– Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hospitality management, preferably in a restaurant/lounge setting.

– Proven track record of managing daily operations, including guest services, housekeeping, and food and beverage operations.

– Experience in financial management, budgeting, and cost control within a hospitality environment.

– Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to oversee multiple departments and projects.

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with guests, staff, and vendors.

– Customer service orientation with a focus on enhancing guest satisfaction.

– Analytical and problem-solving skills to address operational challenges and improve efficiency.

– Knowledge of hospitality industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

– Proficiency in hospitality management software and technology.

– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.

– High level of integrity and ethical standards.

– Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence.

– Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing demands and circumstances.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦200,000.00 per month
