Core Purpose
- To lead and manage all LSS operations with full accountability for CCU asset performance, ensuring alignment with OEG standards. The role focuses on fleet growth, maintenance excellence, and operational compliance, while developing local teams and promoting a strong QHSE culture.
- This is an expatriate, single-status position offered on an initial one-year contract, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and operational needs. The role operates on a 90/30 rotation schedule (three months on, one month off, working 6 days a week; Monday to Saturday), with travel days included within each rotation cycle.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Oversee all LSS operations with full accountability for the performance and management of CCU (Cargo Carrying Unit) assets.
- Ensure base operations comply with standards required by the principle and the industry inspection companies.
- Supervise and implement effective preventive and corrective maintenance programmes for CCU’s to maintain asset integrity and maximize uptime.
- Drive fleet growth and ensure operational readiness from a compliant, fully functional base, working closely with the Base Manager.
- Provide strong leadership and mentorship to local teams, supporting skill development and enhancing operational efficiency. Champion a culture of QHSE excellence, ensuring strict adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards and regulations.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in E&P logistics, oilfield services, or related operational disciplines.
- Proven experience in the organisation and management of CCU fabrication, assembly, welding and repairs is an essential.
- Proven leadership in managing fleets and CCU operations, with a track record of delivering high performance and asset integrity.
- Demonstrated operational experience within industry frameworks and standards is essential; prior work experience with OEG is preferred.
- Strong QHSE orientation, with practical knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Experience working in African or comparable emerging markets, with the ability to adapt to regional operational dynamics. Excellent team leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional coordination skills.

- Proficient in reading and writing in English. Strong electronic communication skills (e.g., email, messaging platforms).
