As part of our continued growth, we are looking to hire a Junior Business Systems Support Officer. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone in the early stages of their career who has a genuine interest in technology, systems and improving how businesses work.
About the Role
You’ll work closely with the Business Systems Manager and wider teams to support, improve and maintain our internal systems and processes. This role doesn’t require programming experience, but a technical mindset and a willingness to understand how systems work is essential. You’ll play a key part in enhancing user experience, documenting business processes and supporting the rollout of system updates and improvements.
This is a cross-functional role where you’ll engage with multiple departments, identify opportunities for better ways of working and contribute to continuous improvement across our systems landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Daily System Operations – Assist in monitoring and maintaining business systems and help resolve user-reported issues.
- Process Documentation – Create and maintain clear documentation of workflows and system usage guides.
- Requirements Gathering – Liaise with internal teams to capture their needs and help translate them into actionable system changes.
- Testing & QA – Support testing of new features and system updates; provide user feedback and identify potential issues.
- Project Support – Track progress of small projects, assist in managing project documentation, and help communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Engagement – Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure smooth adoption of systems and share best practices.
- Support System Integrations – Work alongside the technical team to help ensure systems are well connected (no coding required, but a basic understanding is helpful).
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking motivated candidates who bring a mix of curiosity, reliability and technical interest. The ideal candidate will have:
- Some experience or educational background in business systems, IT, operations, or a similar field
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Good organisational skills and high attention to detail
- A genuine interest in how systems work and how processes can be improved
- Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, Google Workspace, or similar (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to pick up new tools and technologies quickly
Desirable (Not Essential, but a Plus)
- Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
- An understanding of APIs, data flows, or system integration concepts
- Experience writing business documentation or process maps
- Basic exposure to tools like Express.js, Node.js, or similar technologies
