Summary:We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to join our finance team and support day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have sound knowledge of accounting principles and a drive to grow within a fast-paced FMCG distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities:-Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate general ledgers-Assist with bank reconciliations, invoicing, and account reconciliations-Track and reconcile accounts payable and receivable-Monitor and manage petty cash and expense claims-Assist with stock/inventory accounting and monthly reporting-Support in preparing financial reports and assisting with budgeting-Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records-Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits-Comply with tax and regulatory requirements
Requirements:-B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline-1–2 years of accounting experience (FMCG or distribution sector preferred)-Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage)-Strong attention to detail and accuracy-Good communication and organizational skills-Ability to meet deadlines and work under minimal supervision
