Position Summary
We are looking for an expert iPhone Repair Specialist with extensive experience in hardware and software diagnostics, advanced troubleshooting, and high-quality repairs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, certified (if possible), and committed to delivering best-in-class service for all Apple device users.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately diagnose issues across all iPhone models (from iPhone 6 up to the latest)
- Perform advanced repairs, including:
- LCD and OLED screen replacements
- Battery replacements
- Charging port, microphone, camera, and speaker repairs
- Motherboard (logic board) troubleshooting and micro-soldering (preferred)
- Face ID and Touch ID repairs
- Water damage treatment and data recovery
- Software troubleshooting, firmware restoration, iOS upgrades/downgrades
- Conduct pre- and post-repair quality checks to ensure perfect device functionality
- Use specialized equipment: hot air stations, microscopes, ultrasonic cleaners, and diagnostic tools
- Maintain and update repair records with detailed notes and serial numbers
- Manage repair part inventory and request stock as needed
- Provide technical support and honest advice to customers about repairs, costs, and device maintenance
- Train junior staff and stay updated with new Apple repair procedures and devices
- Uphold a clean, organized, and ESD-safe work environment
- Ensure repairs are completed within agreed timelines and to Ogabassey’s high standards
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 2-3 years professional experience repairing iPhones and Apple devices
- Proven track record of successful repairs (references, portfolio, or repair logs required)
- Deep understanding of iPhone hardware, iOS, and Apple’s repair ecosystem
- Skilled with professional repair tools (e.g., spudgers, heat guns, rework stations)
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Solid troubleshooting and fault-finding abilities
- Bonus: Micro-soldering, logic board repair, and data recovery experience
- Certifications: Apple Certified iOS Technician (ACiT) or equivalent is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Customer-focused, professional, and trustworthy
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple jobs, and meet strict deadlines
