About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Internal Audit Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising audit staff, ensuring compliance with professional standards, and driving improvements in internal controls, risk management, and audit processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise audit staff during planning, fieldwork, and reporting stages.
- Review audit working papers and ensure compliance with professional standards.
- Conduct risk-based audits and communicate findings clearly to management.
- Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on corrective actions.
- Assist in developing audit methodologies and enhancing departmental processes.
- Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to junior auditors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Student membership in a professional body such as ACA, ACCA (added advantage).
- Minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience in internal audit, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of internal control systems, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
