Sheer Ambience is hiring a Project Manager to join their team. As a Project Manager with an architectural background, you will lead and oversee the successful delivery of design and construction projects from concept through completion. With your deep understanding of design intent, technical detailing, and project workflows, you will bridge creative vision with practical execution ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and to the highest design and construction standards.
Software Tools
Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Revit (basic to intermediate), and project collaboration platforms (e.g., Trello, Asana, Notion, Clickup, or Monday.com). Familiarity with BIM workflows and contract management tools is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate client briefs into structured project plans, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with the design team.
- Define scope, goals, and success criteria for each project phase.
- Facilitate feasibility studies and coordinate early-stage programming and site assessments.
- Work closely with architects and designers to ensure the design vision is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review drawings, specifications, and construction documentation to ensure alignment with client goals and technical feasibility.
- Act as the design team’s advocate during construction, safeguarding design integrity during implementation.
- Manage the day-to-day progress of projects, including contractor coordination, site visits, quality checks, and milestone tracking.
- Monitor progress against schedules, address site issues proactively, and adjust timelines or resources as needed.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Serve as the central communication point between clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
- Lead coordination meetings, issue minutes, and ensure clarity across all involved parties.
- Resolve conflicts, manage expectations, and maintain clear, professional relationships with all stakeholders.
- Support or oversee project budgeting, cost monitoring, and reporting in collaboration with the Quantity Surveyor/Procurement lead.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, delays, or cost overruns with clear action plans.
- Track variations, change orders, and scope creep with proper documentation and approvals.
- Ensure timely completion of punch lists, defect rectification, and project close-out documentation.
- Coordinate final inspections, commissioning, and client handover procedures.
