Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Human Resources Manager to lead our HR operations and talent strategy at our Owo location. This role is critical in driving organizational effectiveness through innovative human capital initiatives across talent management, performance systems, employee engagement, compliance, and learning and development. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking HR professional capable of aligning workforce planning with business objectives to build a high-performing, future-ready team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute HR strategies that support long-term organizational growth and cultural alignment.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior management on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent investment.
- Leverage HR analytics for data-informed decision-making and workforce optimization.
- Design and lead recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Drive employer branding initiatives to enhance talent pipeline and employee value proposition.
- Develop and implement an organization-wide learning and development framework.
- Conduct training needs assessments and design competency-based learning plans.
- Facilitate blended learning approaches including coaching, mentoring, e-learning, and external training partnerships.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Manage robust performance management systems including KPIs, evaluations, and development plans.
- Lead succession planning initiatives to support internal mobility and leadership continuity.
- Champion employee recognition and engagement programs that enhance workplace morale.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws and internal HR policies.
- Support business transformation initiatives through effective change management strategies.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field; MBA or Master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Professional certifications such as CIPM, SHRM-SCP, CIPD, or SPHR are strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Demonstrated expertise in Learning & Development, including the deployment of digital learning tools and programs.
- Proficiency in HRIS, LMS platforms, and data analytics tools.
