About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resource Manager with a strong generalist background and a deep understanding of HR operations within the fashion, retail, or lifestyle sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the HR strategy, optimizing workforce productivity, supporting departmental operations, and cultivating a performance-driven culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business direction.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning & development, and offboarding.
- Create, review, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance, using measurable KPIs across departments.
- Drive a culture of accountability, innovation, and growth across both retail and back-office teams.
- Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.
- Manage HR compliance, employee relations, and disciplinary processes with fairness and consistency.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure HR initiatives align with operational goals, especially in sales, production, design, and merchandising.
- Track and report on HR metrics to identify trends, issues, and improvement areas.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across all levels of the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or related field. HR certifications (e.g., CIPM, SHRM) are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years’ HR experience, with at least 2 years in a fashion, retail, or fast-paced consumer-facing industry.
- Proven experience in HR generalist functions with strong operational know-how.
- Expertise in SOP development and implementation.
- Demonstrated success in KPI creation, tracking, and performance management.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work both strategically and hands-on in a dynamic environment.
