Job brief
We are hiring an experienced and proactive HR Manager to oversee all aspects of human resource practices and processes within the hotel. The ideal candidate will lead recruitment, employee relations, policy enforcement, and performance management while fostering a positive work culture.
What you will be doing
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with business goals
- Manage the recruitment and onboarding process for all departments
- Oversee performance appraisal systems and provide coaching to managers
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and applying HR best practices
- Develop and enforce HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks
- Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes
- Coordinate training and development programs for staff
- Maintain HR records, payroll information, and benefits administration
- Promote a healthy and inclusive workplace culture
- Advise management on employee engagement, retention, and HR planning
The ideal candidate
- Minimum 3 years of HR management experience, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR practices
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
- Proficient in HR software and MS Office tools
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and confidentiality
