Job Title – Head, Design, Brand & Marketing - Fintech

Salary: 1.6 - 1.8Million Gross
Our Client is a financial technology business, that builds
economies by partnering with global aggregators and investors to connect African
entrepreneurs with affordable financing, to scale their businesses.
The Head, Design, Brand & Marketing is responsible for building understanding, love and
respect for the brand through the creation of delightful brand strategies,
touchpoints and experiences to build top-of-mind awareness and support global
expansion. Additionally, he/she also oversees the product design process, media planning,
creative development for strategic visibility, market research, and positively
impressionable UX designs for Our Client's Product..
Responsibilities
▪ Develop a well-articulated and timeless brand. Document this into a living brand
manual to help guide the creation of brand and marketing experiences.
▪ Create brand and marketing goals in alignment with overarching business
strategies. Execute these key strategies to position the brand
▪ Design and co-ordinate media campaigns, advertising and all kinds of visibility
drives on print, online and social media.
▪ Plan external and internal events, conferences and fairs aimed at improving brand
recognition and top-of-mind awareness.
▪ Conduct marketing research to support any required project and keep updated
with latest current trends and guidelines
▪ Ensure brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and
marketing efforts
▪ Strategically guide the product design process. Ensure the creation of delightful
products and platforms.
▪ Manage partnerships with media outlets, agencies, customers and business
partners as required.
▪ Provide leadership, direction, support and line management to the Brand,
Marketing and Design team through regular 1:1s and annual reviews to ensure
objectives and targets are defined, monitored, and met.
Qualifications
▪ Bachelor's degree in Marketing or relevant fields.
▪ 7+ years' experience working within the Fintech/CreditTech or similar industries
▪ Experience running successful marketing campaigns
▪ Solid knowledge of SEO and web, social and google analytics.,
▪ Experience of commissioning, editing, and optimizing digital content across all
platforms
Job competencies and capabilities
▪ Knowledge of a range of digital and marketing models, techniques, and strategies
▪ Good working knowledge of brand management and the marketing mix
▪ Knowledge and awareness of legal, reputation and web standards compliance
issues
▪ Data literate and able to interpret web analytics and scope out new, relevant
measurements
▪ Exceptional knowledge of design impressions
▪ Sound business communication and presentation skills
▪ Flexibility, determination, and enthusiasm
▪ Strong analytical skills
