We are working to utilize innovative technologies to enhance the sustainability sales and efficiency of building projects. As we embark on diversifying through expansion, we are seeking a strategic and visionary Group Managing Director to lead and leverage on platform of our company Executive MD/CEO efforts to drive global growth.
As a leading real estate firm specializing in selling of land with genuine tittle, luxury properties developmental and farm city settlement and management in Nigeria. Our company was established with a vision to redefine the standards of excellence in the real estate industry, Harmony Gardens has emerged as a trusted name synonymous with quality, integrity, and exceptional service.
We boast of 1300 Hectares of Genuine land worth of 215 million USD as our capital and Harmony Garden Investment and 3 others of her sister business amongst of Royal Crystal Airways, BMTC Energy and Ibile Industrial Part.
The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic, tech savvy and results-oriented Business Development Manager cum GMD to come and direct the Harmony Gardens helms with 11 other managers, COO and Director of Operation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving all the departmental in clients and subscribers’ acquisition, sales and operational efforts and expanding our portfolio of selling 40 Hectares of land Yearly to 100 Hectares and selling of 200 homes yearly.
You are only reporting to the Executive Managing Director/CEO deputising by the ED/Director of Operation while you direct the 11 cross intertwine departments to function to achieved 2 goals listed in below paragraph to thrive the company's vision and mission across all platforms, ensuring alignment with core values and Uphold high standards of corporate governance and ethical conduct to maintain the integrity and reputation of the company.
You will play a crucial role in identifying and merging how each of the resources work with each other to function as management to drives 2 goals (Sales & Clients Satisfaction) and to build a secondary team in pursuing new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and maximizing revenue potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and guide a top-tier management team to foster a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Drive the company's growth and profitability by setting strategic directions and ensuring operational excellence.
- Oversee daily operations and the quality delivery of managerial and executives, implementing processes that enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Ensure all activities comply with legal standards and ethical practices.
- Lead the development and execution of a better expansion plan through building the best Sales, marketing and operational model, analysing market feasibility and securing international partners.
- Drive the adoption of cutting-edge sales and marketing technologies to maintain competitive advantage.
- Establish and maintain robust relationships with mortgage bank, NHF, FMB and International investors and financial institutions to secure funding necessary for expansion.
- Develop and manage the financial strategy, ensuring the company achieves its financial goals while maintaining financial health.
- Identify and address financial and operational risks, implementing strategies to mitigate potential impacts on the business.
- Oversee the identification, evaluation, and execution of real estate investment projects.
- Attracting and securing investments for development projects, while contributing to the organisation's strategic goals.
- Oversee the development and refinement of Real Estate Investments within the Management Program and ensuring alignment with the organisation's executive strategic objectives and vision Monitor market trends and identify potential investment opportunities in various Real Estate classes (residential, commercial, farm Settlement, etc.).
- Oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive investment strategy for Real Estate Investments, specifically targeting investor acquisition for development projects.
- Head negotiations and secure investment agreements with potential partners and investors, ensuring favourable terms and the development program.
- Collaborate with other departmental heads to develop a comprehensive real estate investment strategy, aligned with the program's goals and development plan.
- Oversee the investment pipeline, tracking potential investors, proposals, and negotiations throughout the process.
- Monitor the evaluation and due diligence process for potential investments, ensuring sound decision-making and risk management. Prioritise sustainable and responsible investment practices that contribute to the responsible development while preserving its unique cultural and environmental heritage.
Lead General Managerial Responsibilities:
- Direct on behalf the Executive MD and Contribute to the CEO's short- and long-term strategy in all the Department's perspective in line with the organisation's overall vision and mission.
- Develop the Department's strategy, objectives, KPIs annual operational plans and ensure plan execution is meeting the targets.
- Prepare and submit the department's annual budget for approval taking all planned activities and necessary investments into consideration by monitoring the financial performance.
- Oversee the development, maintenance, implementation and adherence of the department policies and procedures as well as the overall performance of the department and ensure KPI's are well developed, cascaded, communicated, and monitored.
- Ensure effective staffing, professional development, and deployment of staff of the sector in consultation with the Sector Executive
- Direct the department's connection to its customers, whether internal or external, to ensure customer needs are met effectively
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Mortgage Banking, Insurance, Business Administration, Insurance Finance, Real Estate Management, or a related field.
- 10-15 years of relevant experience with 5 years in a managerial role.
- Excellent communication skills, Time management and organisation skills.
- Familiarity with standards, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
- Maintains a high standard of professionalism, presentation, personal integrity, and customer support.
- Decision-making ability and leadership skills.
- Strategic Thinking.
- Extensive leadership experience, ideally as a CEO, GM or similar role within the Real Estate or Estate Development industry.
- Strong understanding of the Mortgage , Real Estate and construction sectors, especially in innovative sales and construction technologies.
- Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or account management.
- Strong understanding of the Nigeria real estate market and holiday homes sector.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving targets and exceeding expectations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
