Fleet Officer - QC Lagos

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and test vehicles after maintenance to verify that all required repairs have been completed.
• Conduct post-refurbishment assessments using standardized checklists to ensure vehicles meet the set refurbishment standards.
• Guide and mentor vehicle technicians on industry best practices in maintenance and refurbishment.
• Examine spare parts designated for refurbishment to confirm they meet quality and specification requirements.
• Collaborate with the Vehicle Maintenance Manager to develop and improve inspection checklists, maintenance routines, and process standards.
• Ensure that electric vehicle (EV) batteries are fully charged before activation.
• Verify and document the accuracy of critical vehicle details, including battery serial number, charger compatibility, and chassis number.

Requirements

• Education: Minimum of OND (Ordinary National Diploma) in any Engineering discipline.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a vehicle technician or in fleet management.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of vehicle systems, inspection protocols, and EV components.
• Soft Skills: Attention to detail, ability to follow and improve procedures, teamwork, and good communication skills.
