Job Title: Financial Planner (Opex and Capex)

My client a leading wine and spirit manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Financial Planner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive financial plans, focusing on operational expenses (Opex) and capital expenditures (Capex), to drive business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast Opex and Capex expenditures for manufacturing, distribution, and marketing activities
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization in the production process
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage budgets, ensuring alignment with company objectives and industry standards
- Provide financial guidance and support to operational teams to inform business decisions on product pricing, inventory management, and supply chain optimization
- Develop and implement financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes to drive business growth and profitability
- Identify areas for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Prepare and present financial reports, including budget variance analyses, to senior management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Professional certification (e.g., CFP, CFA, CPA) preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the manufacturing or FMCG industry
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful financial plans
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in financial planning software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Nice to Have:
- Experience with financial planning and analysis tools (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive Insights)
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations in the wine and spirit industry
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
