Job Summary:
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing month-end and year-end close processes, supporting budgeting activities, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Key Responsibilities:
- • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- • Manage the general ledger and ensure proper accounting for all financial transactions.
- • Reconcile accounts, including bank reconciliations and intercompany balances.
- • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- • Ensure compliance with FIRS and internal accounting policies.
- • Support the external audit process by preparing audit schedules and responding to queries.
- • Monitor and maintain fixed asset registers.
- • Review and process journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.
- • Liaise with internal departments to ensure cost tracking and control.
- • Assist in cash flow monitoring and financial reporting.
- • Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.
