Job Title: Executive Assistant to the MD/CEO

Location: Abuja, Nigeria

Reports To: MD/CEO

Employment Type: Full-time


About the Role

We are seeking a highly resourceful and tech-savvy Executive Assistant with strong strategic thinking skills to support the MD/CEO in business, operational, and personal executive functions. This role goes beyond scheduling and admin—it requires someone who can anticipate needs, manage multiple priorities, track global trends, and help execute strategic initiatives across business, social media, and thought leadership.

You will work closely with the MD/CEO to enhance productivity, maintain strong brand visibility, and ensure that global opportunities and trends are quickly translated into actionable strategies.


Key Responsibilities


1. Executive & Strategic Support

Manage the MD/CEO’s calendar, appointments, and travel arrangements.

Support strategic projects, research, and reports to inform executive decisions.

Prepare briefs, presentations, and documentation for meetings, media appearances, and events.

Anticipate needs and provide proactive solutions to challenges before they arise.


2. Research & Insights

Monitor local and global news, industry developments, and emerging trends in business, finance, and technology.

Provide timely insights, summaries, and recommendations for strategic positioning.

Track competitors, influencers, and policy changes relevant to the business and the MD/CEO’s personal brand.


3. Digital & Social Media Management

Collaborate with the communications team to plan, create, and schedule social media content.

Ensure the MD/CEO maintains a strong presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), and other platforms.

Monitor online engagement, analytics, and public sentiment.


4. Operational Coordination

Liaise with internal teams, partners, and stakeholders to ensure smooth communication.

Track deliverables and deadlines for ongoing projects.

Organize and maintain confidential files, records, and digital assets.


Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, International Relations, or related field.

3+ years in an executive assistant, strategy associate, or similar high-level coordination role.

Strong knowledge of business trends, global current affairs, and social media dynamics.

Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Highly tech-savvy—comfortable with productivity tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Notion, Trello, Canva, ChatGPT, etc.).

Demonstrated experience in supporting strategic projects and managing multiple priorities.

Professional discretion and ability to handle sensitive information.
