Job Summary:
The Enterprise Account Manager will be responsible for acquiring, managing, and growing high-value enterprise accounts across multiple industries. You will identify client needs, develop tailored IT solution proposals, and close deals that drive revenue growth.
This role demands a consultative sales approach, strong industry knowledge, and the ability to work with C-level decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serves as the lead point of contact for all assigned accounts
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships across various departments.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customers’ needs and objectives
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Develop new businesses with new/existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
- Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
- Prepare reports on account status/strategies
- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
- Keep records & metrics of customers’ transactions
- Develop excellent communication skill
- Understands customers’ pain point
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer science, information technology, or related field.
- 4–7 years of proven enterprise sales experience in IT solutions, cloud services, software, or related technology products.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed multi-million-naira sales targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT solutions such as cloud & data center solutions, cybersecurity, enterprise software & applications, IT managed services, networking & infrastructure
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts/projects simultaneously.
Key Skills:
- Understand customers’ organogram and be visible within chiefs’ directorates & corridors (CTO, CIO, CDO, CFO & CISO)
- Align different users (customers) to different BU leads (VP)
- Maintains daily customer visitations.
- Organize strategic workshops (Solution/Account Focus)
- Speak to different stakeholders within an account, a minimum of 20 people per account.
- Have in-depth knowledge of the procurement process, decision chain, payment cycle, exco members, and board sitting.
- Constantly organize meetings for BU leads
- Have knowledge of opportunity process flow as stated below.
