Job Summary:
A top facility management and smart solutions firm, is hiring an Embedded Technology Engineering Specialist to develop and integrate embedded systems powered by IoT, AI, and smart automation. The ideal candidate will design and maintain enterprise applications, automate systems using PLC/YAML, and manage cloud deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop embedded systems and smart automation applications
Program with YAML, PLC, Python, and C/C++
Configure cloud infrastructure and deploy enterprise solutions
Work with IoT protocols (MQTT, Zigbee, Modbus, Bluetooth, etc.)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure systems integration
Maintain and troubleshoot embedded and cloud-based systems
Stay current with tech trends in IoT, AI, and smart home systems
Requirements:
OND/HND/Bachelor’s in Electrical Eng., Computer Science, or related
2+ years of experience with embedded systems and cloud platforms
Solid programming background (Python, C++, YAML, PLC)
Hands-on with microcontrollers, RTOS, Linux, Docker, Git
Knowledge of smart home apps (e.g., Home Assistant)
Familiarity with cybersecurity practices and container orchestration
Preferred Skills:
Master’s degree in a related field
Experience with Home Assistant or smart home dashboards
Knowledge of AI/ML tools (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
Strong UI/UX and system integration abilities
