Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on all electrical machinery, production equipment, and utility systems.
- Diagnose electrical faults, repair breakdowns, and ensure swift resolution to minimize production downtime.
- Supervise and maintain factory power supply systems (transformers, switchgears, generators, panels, inverters, UPS, etc.).
- Design, install, and upgrade electrical control systems, wiring, and automation processes.
- Monitor the performance of electrical systems and implement energy-efficient practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and company policies.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure minimal disruptions during maintenance operations.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including spare parts inventory, fault logs, and service schedules.
- Liaise with external vendors, contractors, and service providers when specialized repairs or upgrades are required.
- Train and guide junior technicians and maintenance staff on safe work practices and technical skills.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and production efficiency.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLCs, and automated machinery.
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Hands-on experience with electrical safety procedures and standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Good communication, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years hands-on experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or production environment (FMCG/Pharmaceutical/Cosmetics industry experience is an added advantage).
- B.Sc./HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
- Membership of relevant professional bodies (e.g., NSE, COREN) is an advantage.
- Must reside in Lagos, preferably within Mushin or nearby environs.
- Physically fit, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Pay: ₦250,000.00 - ₦450,000.00 per month
