Overview
We are seeking a creative and results-driven Digital Marketing Executive to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing digital marketing strategies that enhance our online presence and drive engagement. You will work closely with various departments to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital marketing, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to analyze data to inform decision-making.
Core Skills
1. Social Media Expertise (Meta Platforms):
- Meta Business Suite & Ads Manager: Ability to create, optimize, and manage Meta accounts (Facebook, Instagram) from scratch.
- Meta Blueprint Certification: Required (proves mastery of Meta platforms, ad policies, and campaign strategies).
- Audience Targeting: Skills in building buyer personas, custom audiences, and retargeting campaigns.
- Account Optimization: Knowledge of profile setup, bio writing, hashtag strategies, and SEO for social media.
2. Content Creation:
- Visual Design: Proficiency in tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, or Figma for graphics, reels, and carousels.
- Video Editing: Basic skills in tools like CapCut, Premiere Pro, or Canva Video for short-form content (Reels, TikTok).
- Copywriting: Crafting engaging captions, storytelling posts, and CTAs tailored to platform algorithms.
- Trend Awareness: Ability to leverage viral trends, memes, and platform-specific features (e.g., Instagram Guides, Stories).
3. Analytics & Tools:
- Meta Insights/Google Analytics: Analyzing social media performance and email campaign data.
- Scheduling Tools: Familiarity with Buffer, Hootsuite, or Later for post scheduling.
4. Soft Skills:
- Creativity, attention to detail, and brand consistency.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with designers, copywriters, or clients.
- Time management to juggle multiple platforms and campaigns.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory with proven experience).
- Certifications:
- Meta Blueprint Certification (non-negotiable).
- Email marketing certifications (e.g., HubSpot Email Marketing, Mailchimp Fundamentals).
- Optional: Google Analytics, Canva Design certifications.
Experience
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in:
- Creating and growing social media accounts (portfolio required—showcasing before/after growth, engagement rates).
- Designing and executing email campaigns (examples of successful campaigns with metrics like 20%+ open rates).
- Producing platform-specific content (e.g., Instagram Reels, LinkedIn carousels, TikTok videos).
- Experience working with brand guidelines and maintaining a cohesive visual/aesthetic across platforms.
- Bonus: Experience in your specific industry (e.g., e-commerce, SaaS, fashion).
