We are seeking an experienced and passionate Data Analysis Tutor to join our growing team at Sagamu, Ogun State. You will be responsible for teaching, mentoring, and guiding beginner to intermediate-level students through the fundamentals and advanced concepts of data analysis using tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, Python, and relevant libraries like Pandas and Matplotlib. -
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and practical lessons on data analysis.
Create or customize course materials, resources, and projects aligned with the curriculum.
Mentor students by providing feedback on assignments, projects, and progress.
Teach students how to clean, analyze, and visualize datasets effectively.
Provide real-world examples and case studies to reinforce learning.
Monitor student progress and provide academic support when needed.
Encourage collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving in the classroom.
Stay up to date with industry trends and tools in data analysis. -
Requirements
Proven experience in data analysis or data science (1+ years preferred).
Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
Working knowledge of Python and data libraries (Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
Ability to simplify complex concepts for beginners.
Prior teaching, tutoring, or mentorship experience is a strong advantage.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Passion for teaching and mentoring aspiring data professionals.
A portfolio of past data analysis projects (preferred). -
Nice to Have
Experience with Google Data Studio, Tableau, or other BI tools.
Experience with project-based learning or bootcamp teaching.
Industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft Data Analyst Associate, Google Data Analytics). -
