Role Overview :
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Cybersecurity Tutor to join our team onsite in Ibadan.
As a tutor, you will deliver engaging and practical lessons in cybersecurity concepts, tools, and practices to students ranging from beginners to intermediate level. This is a part-time role, ideal for professionals who enjoy teaching and mentoring.
Responsibilities :
- Teach core cybersecurity concepts and techniques, including network security, threat analysis, risk management, and ethical hacking.
- Guide students through real-life applications such as penetration testing, security audits, and incident response.
- Create and adapt instructional materials, including lesson plans, exercises, and assessments, to suit varying student levels.
- Instruct students on widely used tools and platforms like Wireshark, Kali Linux, Metasploit, Nessus, Nmap, and others as needed.
- Evaluate students’ progress through assignments, simulations, and projects, providing constructive feedback and recommendations.
- Provide support by answering questions and helping students overcome technical and conceptual challenges. Complete any necessary administrative tasks related to teaching, such as maintaining student records, reporting progress, and coordinating with educational institutions if required.

Requirements :
- Proven experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
- Strong command of cybersecurity tools, practices, and frameworks (e.g., OWASP, ISO 27001, NIST).
- Familiarity with ethical hacking and network defense tools.
- Prior teaching or tutoring experience is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about teaching and mentoring others. Must reside in Ibadan or be able to commute to our onsite location.
