Our Client is a mission-driven, specializing in premium herbal supplements and superfoods for humanity and require the service of an experienced Cost Accountant to join our dynamic team in a strategic role that offers a clear pathway to Head of Finance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide financial analysis and support for manufacturing operations, cost accounting, and operational efficiency initiatives
- Analyze production costs, conduct variance analysis, and identify margin improvement opportunities across manufacturing processes
- Support budgeting and forecasting for operational departments including production, supply chain, and logistics
- Monitor key operational metrics and provide financial insights to optimize resource allocation and performance
- Implement cost control measures and track savings initiatives to improve operational profitability
- Collaborate with operations teams to develop pricing strategies and evaluate capital investment opportunities
- Prepare financial reports and analysis for operational decision-making and performance management
- Perform other duties assigned
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
- HDN/BSC/MSC/MBA in Accounting or any related financial program
- Minimum of 4-7 years active work in manufacturing experience with focus on factory cost accounting in any multinationals
- Professional qualification in accounting/finance e.g. ICAN is preferred
- Experience with multi-currency operations
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling
- In-depth understanding of financial statements, KPIs, and performance metrics
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial data analysis
- Exposure to Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau
