Job Description/Requirements

International Medical Corps (IMC) is a global humanitarian nonprofit that began operations in Nigeria in 2013, focusing on strengthening health systems and providing care for children under five. With offices in Abuja and programs in Borno and Kano States, IMC expanded its emergency response in Borno in 2015 due to the Northeast conflict and rising IDP numbers.

Since July 2023, IMC has led a BHA/USAID-funded consortium with DRC, MdM, and GEPaDC to deliver integrated health, nutrition, WASH, protection, shelter, and MHPSS services in Damboa, Askira Uba, and Gwoza LGAs. Services include outpatient care, maternal and child health, mental health support, GBV response, IPC, essential medicines, malnutrition treatment, water and sanitation access, child protection, and shelter support. IMC also strengthens local capacity, promotes health-seeking behavior, and engages communities in risk education and awareness.By combining emergency response with long-term development strategies, the program aims to not only address immediate humanitarian needs but also strengthen the resilience of communities affected by conflict.
