About the Role

The Concrete Boom Pump Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the concrete boom pump to ensure safe, efficient, and precise delivery of concrete to designated locations on the assigned construction site.

Responsibilities

• Operate the concrete boom pump truck to accurately place concrete as directed by Project Manager.
• Position the boom safely and effectively to reach required pouring locations.
• Adjust pumping speed and boom placement to ensure smooth and even flow of concrete.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs when necessary.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service records.
• Conduct daily pre-operation and post-operation safety inspections of the boom pump.
• Identify and report mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately.
• Communicate effectively to ensure the correct mix, volume, and placement of concrete.
• Assist with hose handling and other related tasks during pumping operations.
• Maintain delivery and work logs for each job.
• Track operating hours, fuel usage, and maintenance needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in the Construction industry.
• Certification in concrete pump operation will be an advantage.
