Job Title: Computer Home Tutor
Location: Lagos Island
Compensation: N150,000
Job Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and patient Computer Home Tutor to provide one-on-one instruction to students in the comfort of their homes. The ideal candidate should be proficient in computer basics, software applications, internet usage, coding and other specialized areas (e.g., graphic design, data entry, etc.), depending on the student's needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized computer lessons to students at their homes.
- Assess each student’s learning style and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Teach basic to advanced computer skills (based on student level), such as:
- Computer operations and maintenance
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Internet usage and online safety
- Typing skills
- Email and communication tools
- Introduction to coding (if applicable)
- Provide assignments and practice tasks to reinforce learning.
- Track and report student progress.
- Maintain a positive, engaging, and respectful learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in computer tutoring or teaching (home tutoring preferred).
- Strong knowledge of computers, common software, and digital tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and the ability to work with learners of all ages and skill levels.
- A B.Sc. degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Basic coding skills (HTML, Python, Scratch, etc.)
- Graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop)
- Online collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Zoom)
- Familiarity with educational software or e-learning platforms
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦150,000.00 per month
