Citizen Voices Empowerment Foundation (CVEF) is a nonprofit civic organization committed to amplifying the voices of Nigerians, advancing human rights, media freedom, socioeconomic and climate justice, and empowering communities to drive inclusive and accountable governance.

Role Description

This a volunteering Opportunity for Citizen Voices Empowerment Foundation (CVEF) suitable for Nigerians at home or in the Diaspora who desire true change, to make your voice to be heard and help others speak out too.

Join the Citizen Voices Advocacy Network (CVAN) as a Citizen Voices Advocate and Coordinator. Be part of a growing movement that empowers citizens through advocacy, civic engagement, and legal protection. As an Advocate and Coordinator, you will:

• Be responsible for creating, supporting and leading advocacies on or off social media in alignment with the foundation's mission and vision.

• Report incidents of human rights violations and restrictions on freedom of speech in Nigeria or against Nigerians globally.

• Participate in and support CVEF-led civic advocacy campaigns remotely or otherwise.
  

Qualifications

• Ability to identify human rights, governance, or environmental issues is a plus.

• Passion for Transformative Leadership.

• Communication and Management skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting
