About the Role

We are seeking a visionary and hands-on Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the technical direction and engineering strategy of our blockchain-based financial platform. You’ll be responsible for building and scaling the infrastructure powering stablecoin flows , wallet services, and blockchain integrations across multiple chains.

As CTO, you’ll work closely with the founding team, drive architecture decisions, lead a team of engineers, and ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of all systems. This role requires deep technical expertise in NestJS , Golang , and blockchain systems, coupled with a strong leadership and product-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the technical vision and roadmap for the company’s Web3 infrastructure
• Lead, mentor, and grow a world-class engineering team across backend and blockchain domains
• Make high-level architecture decisions for microservices, API design, blockchain integrations, and security
• Oversee the development and scaling of systems handling stablecoin payments, wallet operations, and smart contract interaction
• Ensure operational excellence, system security, and performance at scale
• Collaborate with product, design, and executive teams to align technical strategy with business goals
• Evaluate and integrate emerging Web3 technologies to maintain a competitive edge
• Manage hiring, engineering processes, code quality standards, and technical debt
Represent the company in technical partnerships, investor meetings, and conferences (when needed)

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including backend systems architecture
• 3+ years in a leadership or executive engineering role (e.g., Head of Engineering, CTO, Tech Lead)
• 2+ years experience launching and maintaining fintech or Web3 products at scale
• Deep expertise in NestJS (Node.js/TypeScript) and Golang
• Strong background in blockchain development , including smart contracts, stablecoins, wallet systems, and EVM chains
• Experience with Layer 2 scaling (e.g., Arbitrum, Optimism) and cross-chain architecture
• Proven ability to lead technical teams, scale engineering orgs, and manage production infrastructure
• Familiarity with database systems (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), message queues, caching, and DevOps workflows
• Strategic thinker with the ability to balance long-term vision with short-term execution
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

• Contributions to open-source blockchain projects
• Strong understanding of compliance, security, and regulatory concerns in crypto
• Prior founder or startup experience
• Familiarity with cryptographic protocols and zero-knowledge systems
Familiarity with agile methodologies particularly scrum methodology
