Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Port Harcourt for a Chief Mechanic. The Chief Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment, implementing preventive maintenance programs, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently. Daily tasks include supervising maintenance staff, maintaining detailed records of all maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience in Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance
- Skills in Maintenance & Repair and Heavy Equipment operation
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting maintenance issues
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Relevant certifications in mechanical or technical fields Prior experience in the oil and energy sector is advantageous
