About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As the second-in-command in the kitchen, you will support the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, maintaining high food quality standards, and ensuring a smooth, efficient workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and food preparation
- Supervise kitchen staff and ensure food consistency and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and compliance with health and safety standards
- Manage inventory, food cost control, and stock rotation
- Step in for the Head Chef when needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong background as a Senior Line Cook
- Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and time-management skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for creativity and excellence in food presentation
