Canvasser

Job Summary:

We are looking for energetic and persuasive Canvassers to promote and sell our beverage products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging potential customers, explaining product benefits, and increasing sales through direct marketing efforts. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and a passion for customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Customer Engagement:

• Conduct door-to-door and street-level marketing to promote company products.
• Approach potential customers in public areas, retail spaces, and marketplaces.
• Educate customers on the features, benefits, and pricing of our products.
• Distribute product samples, brochures, and promotional materials.
• Identify new potential customers and business opportunities.
• Maintain an accurate record of customer interactions and sales leads.

Brand Awareness & Product Promotion:

• Represent the company in a professional and positive manner.
• Participate in promotional events, trade shows, and community outreach programs.
• Encourage customers to try and purchase products through demonstrations and persuasive communication.
• Create awareness and introduce the product to potential customers in the supermarkets where the product is placed.

Reporting & Feedback:

• Provide daily and weekly reports on customer interactions and sales performance.
• Share insights on customer preferences, concerns, and market trends.
• Suggest improvements to marketing strategies based on customer feedback.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum of SSCE; additional certifications in marketing or sales are an advantage.
• 1-2 years of experience in direct sales, field marketing, or canvassing.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work outdoors and engage with a diverse range of customers.
• Must be physically fit and able to stand/walk for extended periods.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience in the Food & Beverage industry is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of local markets and customer preferences.
• Basic record-keeping and reporting skills.
