Job Title: Café Launch Lead (4-Week Project)

Role Overview
YellowDoor is opening No. 1 Café, and we’re looking for a results-driven executor to lead the 4-week setup phase. This role is strictly time-bound — your job is to bring the café to life: from space readiness and staffing to service setup and team training, all using YellowDoor’s existing hospitality and F&B frameworks.
Key Focus Areas (4-Week Setup Period)Week 1: Space & Menu Readiness
- Finalise physical setup — utilities, furniture, counter flow, and equipment.
- Lead menu tasting sessions with kitchen and bar teams.
- Set up POS system and define service rhythm.
Week 2: Staffing & Cost Planning
- Recommend staffing structure (roles, shifts, number of staff).
- Support recruitment and onboarding of café staff (baristas, servers, kitchen hands).
- Create and submit a Staffing Cost Card, including:
- Role-by-role wage breakdown
- Shift coverage plan
- Total monthly staffing cost
Week 3: Trial Operations & Staff Induction
- Train staff using YellowDoor’s SOPs and service standards.
- Run soft openings and test service flow, menu execution, and customer interaction.
- Identify and address early-stage operational gaps.
Week 4: Handover & Exit
- Prepare and submit a complete handover pack, including:
- Staff roster, duties, and schedules
- Daily opening/closing checklists
- Service flow and escalation guide
- Notes on unresolved or pending items
- Exit once café operations are stable and independently manageable.
- An offer to be the GM if launch phase is successful can be negotiated
You’re a Great Fit If You…
