Cháps is a pioneering soft drinks brand dedicated to introducing beverages inspired by traditional African drinks to a global audience. Our mission is to bottle the unique flavors, rich heritage, and good vibes of Africa, bringing a taste of African culture to new audiences by creating memorable experiences through our beverages.
We are on the lookout for a dynamic, culture-savvy, and strategic Brand Partnerships & Culture Events Manager to drive our brand presence through high-impact partnerships and memorable experiences. This is a key role in our marketing team, responsible for leading the research, planning, and execution of culturally aligned collaborations and brand-led events that elevate Cháps’ visibility, relevance, and connection to our community.
Key Responsibilities ? Identify & Develop Strategic Brand Partnerships
- Research and identify culturally relevant brand, event, and media partners that align with Cháps’ values and target audience.
- Build and nurture meaningful relationships with key partners across fashion, music, lifestyle, tech, and culture.
- Pitch, negotiate, and secure high-impact partnerships that drive brand value and cultural relevance.
- Oversee partnership activation, ensuring creative alignment and flawless execution.
? Collaboration Strategy & Execution
- Lead the development of branded activations and co-branded campaigns with external partners.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, content, and social teams to bring partnership ideas to life.
- Manage partnership timelines, deliverables, and budgets with precision.
? Lead Cháps-Owned Cultural Events
- Conceptualize and produce signature Cháps events that reflect our brand identity and resonate with our audience.
- Manage all elements of event production — from concept and venue scouting to vendor management and guest experience.
- Work closely with marketing to drive pre-event promotion, influencer engagement, and post-event amplification.
? Reporting & Optimization
- Define KPIs and measure success across partnerships and events, including media impressions, engagement, attendance, and sentiment.
- Continuously analyze impact and optimize strategies based on performance insights.
- Provide detailed reports and presentations to internal stakeholders.
You Are:
- A seasoned brand or partnerships manager with 3–5+ years of experience in marketing, partnerships, experiential, or cultural programming.
- Deeply immersed in the UK / African Diasporan cultural landscape — from emerging trends to iconic movements — and know how to connect brand values with relevant cultural moments.
- An excellent communicator and creative strategist who can sell ideas and execute them with attention to detail.
- Experienced in managing partnerships end-to-end — from research and pitch to execution and follow-up.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects, teams, and timelines simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and familiar with project management tools (e.g., Notion, Trello, Asana).
