Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper/Secretary to manage financial records, perform clerical tasks, and support day-to-day administrative operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.


Key Responsibilities: Bookkeeping Duties:

  • Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
  • Record daily transactions, including sales, receipts, and payments.
  • Prepare and process invoices, bills, and purchase orders.
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor company accounts.
  • Assist with payroll processing and tax filings.
  • Generate monthly financial reports for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Secretarial & Administrative Duties:

  • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and greet visitors professionally.
  • Schedule meetings, appointments, and maintain office calendars.
  • Maintain filing systems (both physical and electronic) for records and documents.
  • Draft and edit correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed.
  • Order and maintain office supplies and equipment.
  • Support the preparation of presentations, reports, and meeting materials.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in bookkeeping and administrative support.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team.
