Location: Ashi-Bashorun, Ibadan
Job Summary
Our client, a respected healthcare provider, is looking to hire a compassionate and dependable Auxiliary Nurse to support their medical team in delivering quality patient care. The successful candidate will assist with basic nursing duties, ensuring patient comfort, hygiene, and well-being under the supervision of registered nurses and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, feeding, dressing, and mobility.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
- Take and record vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Support nurses and doctors during examinations and medical procedures.
- Provide emotional support to patients and families.
- Ensure patient beds and surroundings are kept clean and organized.
- Assist in the movement and transportation of patients as needed.
- Report any changes in a patient’s condition to the supervising nurse.
Requirements:
- Certificate in Auxiliary Nursing or related healthcare training.
- Registration with the appropriate nursing or health board (if applicable).
- Previous experience in a healthcare or caregiving role is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of healthcare practices and hygiene standards.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
