Job Summary
As an Automation Engineer at Andster Engineering, you should have a strong background in PLC programming and configuration, also skilled in HMI/SCADA software graphics development. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and troubleshooting automation systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement PLC programs using Siemens PLC S7 Simatic Manager, TIA portal, AB Controllogix, etc
- Design and configure automation systems to meet project requirements.
- Develop HMI/SCADA software graphics
- Conduct systems troubleshooting and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automation technologies.
Qualifications
- OND, HND or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in PLC programming and configuration, with expertise in Siemens PLC S7 Simatic Manager, AB PLC, Etc
- Strong understanding of automation systems and control processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with other PLC platforms and automation software.
