Pay : 700,000 - 900,000 Net (depending on experience)
A leading multinational in the consumer goods space, is seeking an Audit Executive to strengthen its audit function across key markets in Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing internal audits, identifying process and control gaps, and driving compliance across Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, and select Southern African countries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute risk-based internal audits in line with the audit calendar
- Conduct field audits across distributors, vendors, and customer locations in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, and other regional hubs
- Perform detailed data analysis to identify anomalies, control gaps, and fraud risks
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, SOPs, and compliance with company policies
- Prepare clear, insightful audit reports and present findings to senior stakeholders
- Recommend process improvements and monitor the implementation of corrective actions
- Support ad hoc investigations and special audits (e.g. fraud or ethics-related cases)
- Ensure timely closure of audit findings and maintain audit documentation Contribute to continuous improvement of audit processes and tools
Requirements:
- 3–5 years’ experience in internal audit, preferably within a manufacturing or FMCG company
- Proven experience with operational audits, risk assessments, and data analysis
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
- Strong understanding of internal controls, process audits, and fraud detection techniques
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and report writing skills
- CA Inter / ICWA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent professional certification Willingness to travel extensively across African markets
