We are currently looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Admissions and Compliance Officer to join our dynamic team in Lagos. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the admissions, Visa process and ensuring compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.


Working Hours: Full time (Mon -Fri) 8 AM – 4 PM OR 9 AM - 5PM
Salary expectations: $250 - $350 Monthly (Based on Experience) + other benefits
Office Location: Victoria Island


Main activities and responsibilities


1. Manage the admissions process for prospective students, including reviewing applications, verifying credentials, and ensuring compliance with admission requirements set by partner institutions.
2. Conduct Pre-Cas Assessment Grading.
3. Provide guidance and support to prospective students throughout the application process, addressing inquiries, explaining admission criteria, and offering assistance with document preparation.
4. Stay informed about relevant regulations and guidelines governing international education recruitment, including visa requirements, accreditation standards, and compliance with international education laws.
5. Generate reports on admissions metrics, enrolment trends, and compliance indicators to inform decision-making and support strategic planning efforts within the agency to be submitted to your Line Manager.
6. Identify potential risks or compliance issues related to admissions practices and take proactive measures to mitigate them, such as implementing internal controls, conducting risk assessments, and staying updated on industry trends.
7. Deliver high-quality customer service to students, parents, and partner institutions, addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues effectively, and fostering positive relationships to enhance the agency's reputation and success.
8. Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancements within the admissions and compliance functions, implementing changes as needed to optimize operations and better serve stakeholders.
9. Review and evaluate student applications, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.
10. Liaise with partner institutions to facilitate the submission of applications and obtain information on admission requirements, deadlines, and quotas.
11. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all student applications and admissions data, ensuring confidentiality and data protection compliance.
12. Participate in promotional events, such as education fairs, webinars, and workshops, to attract prospective students and promote the company's services.

Additional Key Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of the education systems and study opportunities in Australia, US, UK, Canada, or Europe, including admission requirements, visa processes, and scholarship options.
  • Familiarity with relevant educational institutions, courses, and programs in the target study destinations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Demonstrable ability to drive business growth by identifying and converting leads into clients.

Person Specification


  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, business administration, or social sciences).
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in student recruitment, admissions, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with international education systems, visa requirements, and the application process for universities and colleges.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, parents, and educational institutions.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.


Able to demonstrate:


  • A high degree of self-motivation with the ability to work independently, take effective decisions, resolve unforeseen problems and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing own workload and that of the team and planning ahead to meet deadlines.
  • An understanding of information governance and data protection.


Special requirements


Able to undertake duties at different premises. Flexibility to work outside of normal office hours to effectively support the company’s operations and events.


Travel may be required in order to attend conferences, events, new projects and effectively represent the Company in key networks.
