Job Description
- They are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Administrative Officer to support the smooth running of our hospital’s operations.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day administrative tasks, assisting staff and patients, and ensuring effective communication across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and clerical support to hospital departments
- Manage patient files, records, and documentation accurately
- Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, and staff rosters
- Handle correspondence, phone calls, and inquiries professionally
- Support procurement and supply management for hospital operations
- Ensure office equipment and resources are well-maintained
- Liaise between medical, nursing, and administrative teams to ensure smooth workflow
- Assist in preparing reports, memos, and presentations as required
- Uphold confidentiality of patient information and hospital data
Requirements
- OND / HND / B.Sc. in Business Administration, Office Management, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in an administrative role (experience in healthcare is an advantage)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and pay attention to detail
