About the Company:
This is a fast-growing bakery committed to delivering fresh, high-quality products to homes and retailers across Lagos. As they expand, they’re seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Accountant to help structure and streamline their financial operations — moving from manual book keeping and complex spreadsheet-based records to modern accounting tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately record daily transactions, including sales, expenses, and supply purchases
- Reconcile bank, POS, and cash records to ensure all financial activities are balanced
- Monitor and document inventory usage, wastage, and restocking in coordination with operations
- Maintain and organize historical records, invoices, and receipts
- Prepare regular financial summaries (e.g., daily/weekly sales and expense reports)
- Assist in transitioning financial records from Excel spreadsheets to cloud-based accounting tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Airtable)
- Liaise with suppliers regarding payment timelines and outstanding balances
- Support month-end close and generate monthly financial statements
- Flag discrepancies and support budget tracking and cost control measures
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year accounting/bookkeeping experience (experience in bakery, retail, or FMCG is an advantage)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software (QuickBooks, Zoho, or similar)
- ATS qualification or currently in the process of completing it
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
- Tech-savvy and open to working with cloud-based tools
- Must reside within Ibeju Lekki, Sangotedo, Ajah, or Abraham Adesanya axis
- Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Familiarity with tax procedures and payroll processing.
- Proficient in Excel and basic accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Degree or certification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦150,000.00 - ₦180,000.00 per month
